Tri-Cor
International was established in 1980 to manufacture
automatic gate operators which were distributed
through a national network of dealers. These
commercial gate operators were required to move
gates weighing thousands of pounds hundreds of
times a day. In 2000 management discontinued
manufacturing gate operators and began distributing
them. The empirical knowledge gained in this
demanding industry was used in the design and
testing of the Private-Door.
The Private-Door was developed for executives and professionals to provide privacy. Learning of the growing markets of the physically challenged and the maturing of America, Private-Door's design was enhanced to serve these individuals.
Tri-Cor's goal is to remove the barriers that doors cause these individuals and the exorbitant cost to automate them. Private-Door is the first affordable automatic door operator that provides independence for the physically challenged, allows mature Americans to open and close doors with ease, and provides convenience for the executive and homeowner.
